WONDERFUL MONDAY

It's nippy cold in Dixie. I'm enjoying hot coffee, fresh hot from the oven muffins and warm socks. There are things to do later but I be chillin' for a bit before they are conquered.

Do you watch makeover shows on TV or on the web? I do, is that a good thing? Mostly, they are confusing to me.

How do you know what is right for your own personal self? Who has that kind of money to spend on makeup, clothes and hair styles? HA, I say. Shopping at Goodwill and going to the local walk-in barber shop just doesn't cut it, play on words but you get the idea, did this for years, done with it.

It would be great to do one of those shows, however, I think they bring in their friends, relatives, etc., to do the makeovers. Have you EVER known anyone that has done one? Nope, me, either.

Part of changing is thinking about it, determining, enjoying the journey. So, pack up, saddle up and ride that pony to a new start, turning the page so to speak.

This scrolls across my desktop as a screen saver....There is a reason people from your past don't make it to your future. Good one. Maybe that should include clothes, personal style, look, contemplating it all.

Encourage yourself.

The muffins are Martha White Chocolate Chip Muffin Mix. Add 1/2 cup milk to mix, stir, pour into muffin pan sprayed with cooking spray, 15-17 mins later, yum yum in the tum tum.

Hope you're having fun, too!

Unfortunately, those makeovers are just a surface change. After a while, it is a near certanty that they will revert to their old habits of thinking, even if they maintain the new look.
