TREE TIP on TUESDAY

Our GRAND son is now into trains. I'm trying to decorate our Christmas tree each year to his interests, adding the GRAND daughter's first ornament this year. God is good!

I have a dear friend, Sunny, who is so creative. She has the touch of a professional with fabric, yarn, you name it, she can make it and make it beautiful! I asked her about decorations for a train tree. She emailed me back to make a track from a roll of adding machine tape/paper. What a great idea!!

I went to Dollar Tree but there was no adding machine tape but I did find two rolls of white crepe paper for, yes, only $1, so in the basket it went.

The steps are:
unroll the paper completely
put something under it before you start to draw the track because the marker will leak thru
first, draw the two horizontal lines
next, add the vertical 'rails'
move to the next horizontal lines
draw until you run out of paper
roll it back up with the right side in
unroll on the tree so the right side should be on the outside
yeah, it looks like a tree wrapped in toilet paper at first but you will see the tracks really quick
THANKS SUNNY!

Rolling it up makes it easier to handle!

Finished!

ALL ABOARD!

FOR THE RILEY!
