RELAY FOR LIFE

Tonight was the dinner for our local cancer Relay for Life. The Relay for Life is to raise funds for cancer research, as well as, honor the survivors and those lost to the dreaded disease.

The oldest survivor was first diagnosed in 1959, that's right, 1959. The youngest survivor in attendance tonight was only 18. There were people of all ages present as survivors and care givers.

We all have our own story to tell.

Friday is the walk. I'll post pictures then.

It's a time to reflect and be thankful for every breath since diagnosis, for all of us.

As terrible as cancer is, many of you are better off than those who haven't experienced it in that at least you are aware of your mortality and God's power. Unfortunately some still think survival is something they or the doctors did.

Yes, although I do believe God sent me to the right doctors at the right time and used them to help me with the right meds.

Just glad to still be breathing! But most of all, for the two children God gave us AFTER cancer.
