DOCTOR

Taking The Hubbie to the Doctor, again. We're at the age where it is always something either him or me, ho hum, comes with so many candles on the old birthday cake.

The snow is finally trying to melt in Dixie, problem is, it freezes at night but tomorrow the temps are suppose to be in the 40s so it will be gone sooner rather than later.

School has been out all week, amazing isn't it? The Hubbie and I were talking, not remembering having so many days off but do remember standing on the corner waiting for the bus with lots more snow on the ground than we have here.

Maybe we were tougher then. Got a walking to school in the snow story yourself? Care to post it?

I think the big difference was that we accepted such things as normal and didn't count on someone to keep it from affecting us. As a result we didn't get upset when it did affect us. I remember catching the bus when the temperature was -40 and when there were more than two feet of snow. It didn't even make the news. It just shows how much our expectations have changed.
