It's amazing how rain can make you feel.
When it's hot, it cools you off. When it's cold, it makes you feel colder.
Still I am thankful for the rain.
We lived in a part of the country where it did not rain for 6 months. Everything died. The grass died, trees died, the MO river dropped and the fish died. I determined then that I would never complain about the rain again.
It has been pouring in our state for weeks. The first two weeks in Dec 08, there was 11". Last Dec 07, only 1"
The ground is like a soaked sponge but still it is refreshing to know that the earth is getting a good bath.
I like the rain.
