Living in the South

I was born in the South, have lived in the South most of my life and I love it.

True, it does get hot, but the mild temps year round are so worth it. I absolutely hate ice in the winter. I love snow, hate ice.

The birds are bigger in the South. I think that is because they arrive fat, ready for their long journey North. Then, towards Fall, they arrive back just in time to eat up all the bugs that have hatched over the hot months.

I know, I know, the Yankees won the war but in the long run, we got the best end of the deal because we get to live in Dixie!

So, if you ever think of moving South, feel free to do so but please leave your liberal politics up North. Those of us in the South love our country AMERICA, love our families, and we love our God.

Yeah, I'm bragging.

I was born north of the Mason Dixon line but I have the heart of a Southerner..I totally agree..Yankees, if you move down here, leave you politics up north. We've got it good in the south and we don't care how they do it up north. I'll take the south any old day, warts and all.
