I am a blogger but follow very few blogs myself. I have several bookmarked so I can go back to the ones I like pretty quick but following, not so much.
I found one that I like so far. She's so honest! It's titled Grandmom's Little Loves. She thinks her grandchildren are flawless. What a brilliant woman!
Although we only have two GRANDS at this point, more will be coming in the future. Still, The Hubbie and I both think these two are pretty much perfect.
Here is an older picture of them. They are both so much bigger now but there are no new pictures on this computer, a problem that will be repaired soon.
The GRAND son adores the GRAND daughter. He is so good to her. He loves on her, kisses her, touches her hand. He's never hit her, bit her, pulled her hair. He's just perfect to her. She follows his every move and tries to touch him every time he is within her arm's reach.
GOD LOVE EM!
and we do, too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Time to shift gears, move forward, take life out of park...a blog for Empty Nesters, Stay @ Home Moms, Dads, Folks...living, breathing, trying to save money, enjoying life...time to change the focus keep the slippers...welcome one and all.

SO WHAT
So what do I blog about now? Maybe I should just post pictures for several days in a row. Maybe I should just blog about good things in the world. Maybe I should blog about, who knows what? I have lots of words stored up but are they really interesting to other people? Don't know. Phooey.
Okay, how about this? I am 26.3 lbs less fatter than I was a year ago. It's the facts, Mam', just the facts. So, if I have a fall back (is there such a thing?) I will remember this fact. It's okay, I'm not perfect but there is less of me than there was this time last year.
Is that earth stopping? :)

TUESDAY TIP
The money saving tip for today is this:
Check out the website of your favorite eatting out places, fast food, sit down, etc. If they have a birthday club, sign up for it. If they send out an email with coupons, sign up. You will receive offers for free or discounted meals all year and a special treat on your birthday. Free food!
Tonight The Hubbie and I ate out on a BD coupon at the nearby Ihop. He received it for his BD. When we arrived, the hostess said it was not required to purchase the item advertised but he could get anything up to $7.59 if he preferred.
He preferred.
So, we both ate out, after his BD discount, for just over $7.00, which means we ate a nice meal for approximately $3.50 each.
Money in our pocket and no dishes to wash!

DADDY WINS
This is a good clean joke from a good clean friend, a missionary friend for decades.
A father of five young children won a toy at a raffle.
Back home, he called his kids together to let them
determine which one should have the present.
"Who is the most obedient?" he asked. "Who never talks
back to Mother? Who does everything she says?"
After no more than a moment of thought, five small
voices answered in unison: "You, Daddy!"

DIY and Doo Doo
So, gas is coming down, almost by the hour and certainly by the day, wonder why? Elections are in the air! Beware and don't fall for it all. Yes, I am so sick of it all, would love to have a third party candidate take it back but it's not going to happen, never has, it only puts the incumb back into office by splitting the conservative vote. Many do not remember Ross Perot but many do, so tell everyone you know! A vote for a third party is a vote for the present regime. This is not the electon or the time to split the vote! Our country is in too deep doo doo.
Okay, breathe.
A way to save money that I have not bragged about on this site is to do it yourself. Today, I went to the near by bigger town for my errands. When I returned, The Hubbie had cleaned out the dryer vent, resulting in the little wire meshy filter thing now actually fitting into the slot where it is suppose to fit. Yes, there are companies that one can pay to do such things but why bother? Do it yourself. Don't know how? Look on the web. You can find out all kinds of things to do yourself.
Two good sites are eHow.com and Howstuffworks.com. Check em out.
